Fall Guys X FFXIVイベント:

FFXIVがXboxに登場:

おそらく、オープニング基調講演の最大の瞬間は、マイクロソフトゲーミングのCEOフィル・スペンサー氏が吉田直樹 (Yoshi-P) とともにステージに上がり、FFXIV がついに Xbox シリーズ X およびシリーズ S に登場 が2024年春に登場することを発表したことでした。 正式リリース前に、6.5x パッチの一部としてオープン ベータ版が利用可能になります。オセアニアのデータセンターの追加に加えて新しいワールドを追加するデータ センターの拡張は、XboxでのFFXIVの今後の発売に伴うプレイヤーベースの継続的な成長を見越したものだったのではないかと思います (しばらくは開発中みたいです) 。

Expansion name and trailer:

The name of the new expansion Dawntrail and it’s teaser trailer premiered. The expansion will take the Warrior of Light and friends westward to the continent of Tural. YouTuber/Twitch streamer Jesse Cox uploaded a video of the audiences reactions of the teaser trailer premiere in Las Vegas. Dawntrail is expected to launch Summer 2024.

Fall Guys X FFXIV event:

  • Limited time FFXIV Fame Pass (glamour) will be available in Fall Guys starting August 22nd.
  • Some details and screenshots were shared about a Fall Guys styled event that will be added to the Golden Saucer and will support up to 24 players.

FFXIV coming to Xbox:

Probably the biggest moment of the opening keynote was Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer joining Naoki Yoshida (Yoshi-P) on stage to announce that FFXIV is finally coming to Xbox Series X & Series S in the Spring of 2024. Before the official launch, an open beta will be available as part of the 6.5x patch. I assume that the expansion of the data centers adding new worlds in addition to adding the Oceanian data center was in anticipation of the continued growth of the player base along with the coming launch of FFXIV on the Xbox (which seems to have been in the works for some time now).

Seeing Spencer, Yoshi-P, and Square Enix CEO Takashi Kiryu all on stage sent a message that the two companies will be working together in the future to bring more SE titles to Xbox. Hopefully this will reduce or end the Playstation exclusivity periods games such as the FFVII Remake and FFXVI have had recently.

The FFXIV free trial has been extended to include the Stormblood expansion and level cap raised to 70. As noted in the Xbox Wire blog post announcing FFXIV coming to Xbox, the free trial will also be available to Xbox players.
